Ouaddou: It’s too early to judge this work

Orlando Pirates coach Abdeslam Ouaddou has said it’s too early for him to judge the work that he has done at the club so far, despite having reached two cup finals in six months at the helm of the team.
Talking to the media at Rand Stadium on Tuesday afternoon ahead of their Carling Knockout final against Marumo Gallants on Saturday at the Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane, the Moroccan-born coach said that he is happy that they have been working well together as a team.
“I would just like to thank my players, to thank my staff, first of all, to thank the club, because it’s a collective work. I always say that we are getting results all together, but just to judge this work since now, I think it’s too early to judge this work,” Ouaddou told the journalists.

The coach, however, further added that what he is doing is aligning with the targets of the club.
“I just can tell you that we are aligned with the targets of the club and we are doing our job. We will continue to work hard to reach targets for the club and for our fans as well,” Ouaddou concluded.
Pirates have already won the MTN 8 this season, and in the past three seasons, they have failed to win the Carling Knockout as well as the Betway Premiership. And on Saturday, they will be looking to win their first Carling Knockout since its launch three seasons ago.
