Our best stories start with someone who knows something is wrong. If you have information about corruption, abuse of power or wasted public money, we want to hear from you.
The safest ways to reach us
How we protect you
- We never reveal a confidential source. Only the editor handling your information knows who you are.
- We check what you tell us independently before we publish anything.
- We will tell you before we publish if your information is used.
Protect yourself
- Do not contact us from a work phone, work computer, work email or office Wi-Fi.
- Do not tell colleagues you are speaking to a journalist.
- Photograph documents rather than forwarding them: files can carry hidden details about who sent them.
Or use this form
This form is fine for ordinary story ideas. For anything sensitive, please use Signal or encrypted email instead: messages sent through a website are less private.
