Thapelo Maseko Set For Loan Move In January

JOHANNESBURG – With limited time in the first team at Mamelodi Sundowns, a former Bafana Bafana midfielder could be looking at a loan move away from the club in January.
Thapelo Maseko had big expectations when he joined Sundowns from SuperSport United, and now his agent, Glyn Binkin, has told The African Chronicle that they are considering a possible loan move in January, as they are currently in talks with Sundowns.
“For Thapelo (Maseko), we have numerous options for him to go out on loan in January, which we are discussing with Sundowns at the moment. He is a promising young talent who needs game time and if it’s not going to be at Sundowns (which situation we understand and respect), then they need to give him the opportunity to do so elsewhere which is in everyone’s interests and in particular for the player in order to progress his career which unfortunately has stagnated over the past 2 seasons,” Binkin said.
